Unframed.

A simple line drawing on a wet surface allowing for intentional unintended results. Line variety and weight are intuitively drawn in a loose gesture. The title implies something everyone does whether it’s practical, spiritual or in my case artistic. There are no boundaries in a search, so it stands to reason there is no boundary, or outline, of the figure. Search is nebulous and is represented by the smoky atmosphere created by the charcoal reacting with the water.
