Peeled paper, holes poked, tears cut in and red sawdust pasted are the components of this collage creating small collection of harmonized textures. The bottom strip of texture is created by peeling the brown backing then folding it over and pasting. This action forms a forward and receding movement of the texture. On the folded backing the pressed paper pushes towards the viewer while the pressed paper within the packing material moves back into the collage. A smaller example of this occurs in the middle of the piece. The brown paper serves as a great compliment to the textured features.
